Volunteer Opportunities with an Interdisciplinary Journal

Are you passionate about scholarship, interdisciplinary research, writing, editing, or academic publishing?

We are looking for volunteers to join our editorial team and help support the development of an interdisciplinary journal that brings together diverse perspectives, fields of study, and forms of scholarly and creative expression.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:

• Assistant-Editors — Help shape the journal’s vision, develop issues, work with contributors, and support the editorial process from submission to publication.
• Proofreaders — Review accepted manuscripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, and typographical errors. Work closely with manuscripts to improve clarity and organization while preserving each author’s voice and ideas.
• Copyeditors — review submissions for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and adherence to the journal’s editorial and style guidelines.
• Layout Editors — Help transform manuscripts and creative works into polished, accessible, and visually engaging journal pages.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome graduate students, researchers, educators, writers, editors, designers, and others who are interested in contributing to an interdisciplinary scholarly publication.

You do not need to be an expert in every field represented in the journal. We value curiosity, collaboration, attention to detail, and a commitment to interdisciplinary and integrated approaches to knowledge.

This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in academic publishing, contribute to an intellectual community, develop editorial or design skills, and help bring new scholarship and creative work to a wider audience.
