Dr. Meenal Shrivastava has had life events that have created unique identifiers for her. The lessons she has learned about the socio-political system, and how we operate in it as academics, are likely to have a wider resonance with academics vs. non-academics. In this piece, she will focus mainly on her experience as the editor of an academic journal for her three year term.
