Abstract

This paper is a case study done while applying a leadership theory. The case study was used from the article Ainston and Yang (2017) wrote. The paper not only speaks for applying transformational theory as a tool to break bias but also points out that the lack of data in higher education leads to a lack of research development. Transformational leaders may or may not break biases while working in environments that enforce the gender gap. The expectation is that transformational leaders will address the gender gap to implement progress, which is one essential attribute of a transformational leader (Northouse, 2022).
